Wind flowed with the breeze. A crisp smell reached her, the smell of a river, and fish. She reached the river and dipped her paw in. The fish scattered and she lifted out her paw. The wind was now raging. Wind was completely focused on a rather plump fish. The wind died as she struck at the fish. Wind hooked it on her claws and flung it out. She slamed down her paw and began to eat.

"Having fun?" Asked a half-growling voice. Shadow appeared behind Wind. The big black brute walked past her to the stream. With an expert flick he tossed a fish onto the bank and killed it with a blow from his paw. "So, what do you think of the place?" He asked as he bit into the fish.

Wind was normally the silent type, since the alpha had spoken to her it was only respectful to speak. "Blood....is such a corruptive thing." she said. There was an evil gleam in her eye. It faded and she added, "It's nice here."

"So glad you think so, seeing as you'll have to spend most of the rest of your life here." Shadow said. The growl was gone. "What do you mean, blood is corruptive?" His asked. He looked down at the bloody, thin bones that were now all that was left of his meal.

Shadow believed he understood her. His own father, from what he could remember of him, had been like that. Shadow seemed nicer as you got to know him, though he still but on a tough exterior that rarely went down. Inside, who knew what the alpha was really like?

A rather large black brute lay asleep,fur ruffling in a soft breeze.Or at least he seemed to be.
Thrix's ears perked slightly as he listened to the alphas voice and the voice of another,a wolf,a pack member,he had never met.
He lifted his head,peering through the trees and watching them.

Shadow's eyes flickered briefly to where Thrix lay. Thrix had not been around camp much, so he had not met the two newer members of the pack. Whether or not he came up and introduced himself was no concern of Shadow's.
